Plant Pot Pets

What you need

Plant pot
Pom-pom
Acrylic paint
Wobbly eyes
Silver wire
Small beads
Glue or double sided tape

How to make

1-Paint a plant pot with acrylic paint, applying two coats if required. Allow to dry.
2-Decorate with spots or stripes in a contrasting colour.
3-Glue two wobbly eyes onto a pom-pom. Attach a bead onto the end of a fine piece of wire. Wind the wire around the bead and back through the hole then cut off any excess.
4-Thread the other end of the wire through the pom-pom and back up again to form antennae. Attach a bead on the other end of the wire in the same way.
5-Secure the pom-pom to the rim of the pot using glue or double sided tape to make your plant pot pet.

Foam Heart Pins

What you'll need:

Large craft foam hearts (blue or pink)
Colorful beads or alphabet beads
Glitter glue in blue and pink
White craft glue
Pin backs

How to make it:

1-For pink heart, draw a heart in the middle of the pink foam heart with white craft glue. Place colorful beads onto the heart shaped glue.
2-Squeeze pink glitter glue into the middle of the beaded heart. Let dry.
3-For the blue heart, glue letters onto the front spelling out “BE MINE”.
4-Pipe green glitter glue around the outer border of the blue heart. Let dry.
5-When completely dry, glue a pin back onto the back and let dry.

Tips:
1-Foam hearts are available in any craft supply store and can be bought in small packages or large bonus bags.
2-Use an old fishing tackle box to sort out your beads, pins, and buttons.
3-If you don’t have glitter glue, pipe white glue on and sprinkle glitter on top and let dry.
